Why Deals4Dreams?
Deals4Dreams began with the notion that non-profit organizations could become more effective in their efforts to make the world a better place not just through donations and annual auctions, but by combining hand-picked local deals with non-profit organizations.
This combination provides a constant stream of income for non-profit organizations and a means to communicate their existence and promote their efforts. The result is the culmination of a dream to connect commerce with philanthropy.
As a non-profit member in our Deals4Dreams community, we’ll build a"deal store" just for your non-profit organization or community cause and sell deals that are hand-selected. Each deal is picked by our crack staff of deal hunters who are focused on getting top quality products and services. All you have to do is start your site and spread the word. We do all the rest!
What does it cost to set up a “deal store”?

Deals4Dreams is a group of people with roots in entrepreneurial endeavors and helping out non-profit groups. Deals4Dreams is a vision that we’ve had to bring our two passions together! Along the way we enjoy a great joke and overall silliness. (Our conference table doubles as a ping-pong table.) How much money goes to Non-Profits?
When a voucher sells we pay the merchant who provided the product, deduct for any requests for refunds, pay for credit card processing, pay a little to our technology provider and share the balance equally with the non-profit whose member generated the sale.
We share net revenue equally on a each deal sold through non-profit’s “deal stores”. “Ah hah!” I can already hear you say, "net revenue, I knew there was a catch". Not to worry! Here is how it works. When a non-profit supporter buys a voucher, the merchant is paid first - - typically 50% for providing the product. The remainder is reduced by credit card processing costs, e-commerce platform provider costs, customer returns (as more fully explained in the applicable contract) and remaining balance is shared equally between Deals4Dreams and the non-profit organization. Deals4Dreams pays its operating costs (rent, staff, ping pong balls, etc.) from its share.
Can I start my own cause even if it doesn't exist yet?
Absolutely! We encourage all in their efforts to make the world a better place. Need supplies for the classroom, funds for a field trip, a mission trip, a club, or community effort? If so, then this is the place for you! Try it out, let’s send out emails to your contacts, and use social networking to spread the word. No effort is too big or too small! We have the same revenue sharing arrangement with community causes too.
Can merchants sign up?
Yes, we welcome you to register. Merchants can get great exposure and connect with very worthy causes to build great brand identify and good will. Do I need a group to buy with me to take advantage of your great deals?
Nope! No tipping points, no minimums, no waiting to see if others buy. If it’s on our site, it’s available!
Where is D4D based?
We are based in Bellevue, Washington, just east of Seattle.
How do I get my purchase?
We’ll send you a voucher via email.
How do I use my purchase?
Just print the voucher and take it to the business and redeem. It’s easy!
Is my personal information safe?
We take everyone’s privacy very seriously! Our site uses the latest SSL technology to ensure encrypting and providing authentication. We never share any personal information with anyone, except to process transactions with a secure credit card processing firm.
What if I buy something and the merchant goes out of business?
No problem. We’ll reimburse you for your purchase. We guarantee all of your purchases made through our site.
Can I gift a D4D purchase?
You bet! Simply click the “gift purchase” button and follow the instructions.
Why should I share deals?
Because it’s a great way to increase revenue and awareness for something you care about. Your friends and family will thank you for giving them the same opportunity, and they just may lift you upon their shoulders like a true hero!
